From the page: "World's first social imaging app"

From the people that brought us the great RocketDock windows utility. Fun little online image-editing app with built-in social collaboration tools in terms of having images/layers available from others to insert/edit. Could be fun and interesting... let's start mutating!

Handy little lightweight LAN chat program for Windows with a ton of nifty features. Great for communicating with others on your local network and no server is needed.

generated southpark character

Fun little time waster of a flash app to create your own South Park character. I can't seem to resist these build em yourself character things for some reason. This one is worth a spin once if you can't sleep or something and my attempt ended up pretty indicative (as you can see if viewing my blog) of the stressful week I've had.

FYI: to those that mentioned downloading, you can use some types of screen-shot utils to grab a picture of your creation and I imagine flash extracting utils would work as well though unnecessary.

Great security resource for bloggers, particularly for Wordpress users thus far. It's time for people to start waking up to security issues on the web. If you're running Wordpress and you care whether or not it gets hacked, this is a site worth checking regularly.

Finally an "official" centralized directory of Wordpress plugins. There will always be tons of plugins not listed/maintained here, but it's a start.

Wixi is an open-source cross-platform desktop wiki implementation based on simple txt2tags formatting. As of this review, the app (version 0.76) is a little raw as of yet and doesn't really compare to TomBoy or Wikidpad but it is still extremely simple to use, makes history/versioning seem extremely simple, and also earns high marks for being truely cross-platform. Also highly recommended for those that already use txt2tags markup or python/wxpython enthusiasts.

A video mashup using the sound from the Starwars: Episode 1 teaser and video clips from the television series Supernatural. Very well done... Sam and Dean even wield lightsabers, haha.

Fan-Video for the show 'Bones' set to the song Unbelievable by EMF. The facial expressions captured in this vid are absolutely priceless and really kept cracking me up. Any fan of the series should get a kick out of this.
FoxyTunes Planet - Web of music at your fingertips

I've been playing with this in private beta testing but it's now in public beta... so if you like music and wasting time on the web (that's sort of a given if your a fellow stumbler) check this service out. It's a mashup or aggregator of a bunch of different music and music-related services/resources from around the web. Each resource is presented as a customizeable "widget" to let you take control over what you do/don't want to view as well as how.

It works great with the FoxyTunes extension for Firefox (version 2.9 and higher supports Planet integration) and so far my favorite part has been the Flickr integration which makes it easy to find cool Artist images on the fly while listening to them. Saves a lot of web-hopping for other info too.
